Scenen er sat i Manhattan, cirka 1941. På et opfinder-værksted, beliggende i en bygning ned ad en smal gyde kaldet "41 Murray St.", blev Chemex født. Den større fortælling er en om excentricitet, nysgerrighed, vedholdenhed og opfindelse. Denne historie inspirerede vores "Home of the Chemex"-plakat, som vi kærligt skabte til New York Coffee Fest. På grund af den store efterspørgsel på det smukke stykke, har vi besluttet at tilføje det til vores kollektion, så du kan tage det med hjem. Den viser vores allerførste Chemex-logo og en vintage-tegning af vores elskede karaffel. "X'et" på metrokortet markerer stedet for Dr. Schlumbohms legendariske lejlighed, hvor han designede den ikoniske Chemex-kaffemaskine.
