Our hard water had left a chalky ring inside the reservoir that vinegar never touched, and this odorless solution dissolved it in a single cycle. I’ve already run the machine three times since and the coffee tastes noticeably cleaner, so it’s easily worth the extra cost over cheaper tablets.
