I was a little worried a coaster this small wouldn't hold my Chemex's base, but it fits perfectly and the leather's already starting to soften up nicely. It’s got a real weight to it, sturdy yet elegant, and I can see it aging really well over the next few years.
The stitching on this coaster is so clean and tight, it looks like a piece of furniture for my table. I’ve been using it daily for a week and the leather already feels more supple, which is a nice surprise. It’s sturdy enough that I don’t worry about my hot mug leaving a mark.
